Portableapps.com has collected and modified a lot of programs to work without installation. This makes it possible to keep em on your thumbdrive or memstick, or even your camera or phone.
You download portableapps itself, either the platform with no preinstalled software, or you can choose between 2 different suites, containing most of what you'd need of software.
